This event was co-sponsored and organized by Swiss Post International, Professional Fulfilment Services and Basel eBusiness, both of Jersey. It was aimed at providing local Jersey-based eCommerce companies the opportunity to consider establishing successful distance selling/eCommerce operations in Switzerland. This project and campaign was arranged in light of the UK Government’s regulatory change to eliminate VAT relief on lightweight items being shipped into the UK and Europe from the Channel Islands.
